Contemporary Wall Light in Wood and White Glass
An L-shaped solid wood bracket with a rectangular white glass shade sitting on it. Two components, one right angle, no visible fixings. Most contemporary wall lights reach for black metal; this one gets its calm from natural timber and opal glass instead.
Opal glass, evenly lit
The shade is solid white glass rather than acrylic, so it holds the light without hot spots and glows the same from every angle. Light escapes upward and downward as well as through the panel, which lifts the wall above and below it.
Narrow enough for tight walls
25 cm tall and only 10 cm wide, it fits the strips of wall that defeat wider fittings: beside a headboard, between a wardrobe and a door, along a corridor, or in pairs framing a mirror. The wood is left in its natural tone, so it warms up white and grey rooms rather than adding another hard surface.

Which bulb suits it?
A standard E27. Because the glass is opal, a plain warm white 2700K LED gives an even glow — there is no need for a decorative bulb, and a low-wattage LED keeps heat away from the wooden bracket.
Is the shade glass or plastic?
Glass. It is heavier and more evenly lit than an acrylic panel, and it will not yellow with age.

Which bulb do I need for my bedside lamp?
Most of our bedside lamps use a standard E27 (large screw) or E14 (small screw) fitting — you'll find the exact base type in the Specifications table above. All fittings are standard in the UK, so bulbs are easy to find in any supermarket or online. For a bedside lamp we recommend a warm white bulb (2700K) between 25W and 60W equivalent: it gives the soft, cosy glow a bedroom needs, rather than the cold light of a work lamp.
Can I use an LED bulb with this lamp?
Yes. All our lamps work with LED bulbs, and we actually recommend them: an LED uses up to 90% less energy than a traditional bulb, stays cool to the touch and lasts 15,000+ hours. Choose a warm white LED (2700K) for a relaxing bedside light, and a dimmable LED if you plan to use a dimmer.
How long does delivery take in the UK?
Your order is prepared and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery across the UK then typically takes 7 to 12 working days, and every parcel is sent with tracking — you'll receive your tracking number by email as soon as your lamp ships, and you can follow it at any time on our Track Your Order page.
What if the lamp doesn't suit my bedroom?
No problem. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and return your lamp for a refund. Check the dimensions in the Specifications table before ordering to make sure it fits your nightstand — and if you're unsure whether a style will work in your room, our team is happy to advise before you buy.
Are your lamps safe and UK compatible?
Yes. Every lamp we sell is CE certified and designed to work with standard UK plugs, sockets and bulbs. Fabric and wood models use heat-safe fittings, and we recommend LED bulbs for the coolest, safest operation — especially for children's night lights.
