Contemporary Wall Lamp with a Reversible Cone Shade
A brushed aluminium cone on a flat rectangular arm, mounted so the shade can point down at a surface or be flipped to wash the ceiling. One fitting, two completely different lighting effects, decided when you install it β and changed again later if the room changes. Among contemporary wall lamps this is the plainest possible shape, executed properly.
An anti-glare cone, rated below UGR 19
The inside of the shade is finished to spread light evenly rather than bounce it back as a hotspot, and the deep cone keeps the source recessed. The supplier rates the glare index below 19 β the threshold normally required for office and study lighting. In practice it means you can sit under it, or opposite it, without squinting.
Small, precise, 4β7 W
13 cm tall with a 10 cm shade, standing about 18 cm from the wall. Choose warm white 2700β3500K for bedrooms, natural white 3500β5500K for living spaces, or cool white 5500β7000K for a desk or workshop. The brushed silver finish sits with stainless steel, glass and pale walls rather than competing with them.

Can I change the direction after fitting?
Yes. The cone reverses on its arm, so a downlight becomes an uplight without rewiring. Decide which you want first, since it changes where you should position it on the wall.
Can you switch between the colour temperatures?
No β the colour is fixed and chosen when you order. Warm white suits bedrooms, natural white living spaces, cool white desks and work areas.

Which bulb do I need for my bedside lamp?
Most of our bedside lamps use a standard E27 (large screw) or E14 (small screw) fitting β you'll find the exact base type in the Specifications table above. All fittings are standard in the UK, so bulbs are easy to find in any supermarket or online. For a bedside lamp we recommend a warm white bulb (2700K) between 25W and 60W equivalent: it gives the soft, cosy glow a bedroom needs, rather than the cold light of a work lamp.
Can I use an LED bulb with this lamp?
Yes. All our lamps work with LED bulbs, and we actually recommend them: an LED uses up to 90% less energy than a traditional bulb, stays cool to the touch and lasts 15,000+ hours. Choose a warm white LED (2700K) for a relaxing bedside light, and a dimmable LED if you plan to use a dimmer.
How long does delivery take in the UK?
Your order is prepared and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery across the UK then typically takes 7 to 12 working days, and every parcel is sent with tracking β you'll receive your tracking number by email as soon as your lamp ships, and you can follow it at any time on our Track Your Order page.
What if the lamp doesn't suit my bedroom?
No problem. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and return your lamp for a refund. Check the dimensions in the Specifications table before ordering to make sure it fits your nightstand β and if you're unsure whether a style will work in your room, our team is happy to advise before you buy.
Are your lamps safe and UK compatible?
Yes. Every lamp we sell is CE certified and designed to work with standard UK plugs, sockets and bulbs. Fabric and wood models use heat-safe fittings, and we recommend LED bulbs for the coolest, safest operation β especially for children's night lights.
